orman31.07.2008 tarihinde Çanakkale-Çınarlı Köyü'nde başlayan yangın neticesinde Çanakkale'yi çevreleyen oksijen deposu İntepe ve Güzelyalı ormanları alevlere teslim oldu. İntepe Beldesi yakınlarında Turgut Reis Tabyası'nı çevreleyen, Çanakkale Savaşları'na tanıklık etmiş çam ağaçları, toplam 500 hektarlık alan kül oldu.

Çanakkale Fen Liseliler Derneği olarak, oluşturduğumuz proje grubuyla, yanan ormanlık arazinin tekrar yeşertilmesine destek olabilmek adına, bir "HATIRA ORMANI" oluşturmak için kolları sıvadık. Tüm ÇFL ailesinin sağlayacağı en geniş katılımla, olabildiğince çok sayıda fidan dikebilmek için desteğinizi bekliyoruz.
